HSSE Department has made enormous efforts to communicate and secure proper implementation of MJEC HS&E procedures and Safety Rule and Regulations.

HS&E Policy: HSE Department has made Environmental Policy, which has approved by MJEC management, and under review of ERA & Internal Auditor

HSE Training: HSE Department conducted a total of 640 man-hours of in house General HSE Training where a total of 48 MJEC employees and 22 Contractor's staff have benefited of this training.

HSE Inspections And Audits: HSE Department has conducted a total of 46 inspections and Audits in MJEC Offices,  Indoor & Outdoor Sub-stations, Over-head Lines, Stores and Transformers, these including First Aid box, Fire fighting Equipments, Near-misses, MJEC Name Board, Earth Wire Safety, Safety Sign & Posters, Housekeeping and Contractors HSE Violation.

HSE Issues And Awareness: HSE Department had issued Office Safety Rules, Eight Principles for Safe Work Place, HSE Rules and Regulations and HSE requirement aspects in new Tender documents for Contractors.

Near-misses: HSE Team has got 38 near-misses during HSE Audits & checking, and 75% removed before ending of 2007.

Security And Safety: HSE Department has reported for Security and Safety of Sub-stations and arranged proper system by Contractors (Wall Fencing, Door Pad Locks, First Aid Box and Fire Extinguishers etc.).

HS&E Management System-Manual: HSE Department had completed HS&E-MS manual for establishment of MJEC HSE Culture (HS&E-MS 100% Completed in 2007, now under review of MJEC Management).
